Globe to Globe World Music Festival

The Globe to Globe World Music Festival held on Saturday 28 from 12 noon - 10.00pm and Sunday 29 from 12 noon - 6pm of January 2012,
Namatjira Park, Springs Road, Clayton South (Mel Ref: 79 A4).

Showcasing the very best in world music over two stages as well as a range of dance and craft workshops, cuisine from around the globe, rides and entertainment.


A talented line up of musicians will perform at the spectacular 2012 Globe to Globe World Music Festival being held at Namatjira Park in Springs Road, Clayton South on Saturday 28 January from (12noon-10pm) and on Sunday 29 January (from 12noon-6pm).



Proudly presented by the City of Kingston, this fantastic event showcases the very best in world music over two stages, as well as a range of dance, craft and cooking workshops, cuisine from around the globe and rides and entertainment.


The World Music Stage will feature performances by talented world musicians including: Ajak Kwai, Musiki Manjaro, Sol Nation, Future Roots Sound System, Passi Jo and Warako Musica, Ska Vendors and Beth George.



A range of cultural performances will be presented on the folkloric stage and there will also be workshops in salsa, African dance, belly dance and flamenco for people to try. 



The Festival, now in its 12th year, has grown to become one of the most highly regarded world music festivals in Victoria showcasing cultural diversity and world music. Many thousands of people attend the two day event each year.
