So This Thursday is our Australia Day January 26 TH (for all the overseas peeps playing at home)
To explain what it is pretty easy here we go :
It's sort of like July 4th
Australia day= good excuse to get drunk :P nah seriously its to celebrate the "discovery" of the country by captain cook in 1788.
fireworks, bbqs, flags everywhere.
and the cape flags! and bikini flags! and drunk dickheads bellowing garbled versions of the anthem down the street til 4 am!
oh Australia.. how classy you are !
Anyway so we are going to head down the beach and have Fish 'n' Chips for lunch. See nothing really exciting here haha.

ReplyDeleteEach year we usually spend Australia day at the beach or near water of some description. The weather forecast for Sydney looks very sad this year so might be spending it indoors instead.
