Well Hi i am blogging this rather late but pre scheduled this as i was rather in a crazed mood of sorts here's what happened.
Last week we put our old television out on the nature strip for the council to come and collect our hard rubbish ~ Yes we rang and organised for a pick up Monday afternoon.
So Sunday night we put our rubbish bins out for collection as people do right! All that was fine so In the morning i go to bring the bins round the back gate and the bin feels rather heavy so i opened it to see our TV inside the bloody bin upside down so it would not come out ~ {it was pushed in there pretty hard}
Now i ask you What /who kind of idiot would do that??!!
at least this guy won't come and steal the copper out of it to sell i guess!
Just rewind back a little to March /April ~ Just some days after Easter break ~ We had another old TV out for collection the council was rung etc... after 3 days of being on the nature strip i went to check the mail and saw this note stuck on the TV outside it read.
"kindly remove your eyesore it's an embarrassment to the neighbourhood"
I was thinking what ever and took the not inside showed Dion and underneath the note he wrote
something rather rude and crude as you do first reaction right. Stuck it back on the tele and smiled and walked inside . It was fair to say the note was gone 4 hours later the tele was picked up 2 days later.
Now at our last house when we put our bins out for rubbish collection day we had people setting our bins on fire!!! We use to get knocks on the door saying "Um hi your rubbish bins on fire"?
OMG! so anyway the bin will just sit outside till next week cos it can't be lifted just waiting for a not to say
please put your bin inside or something ~We like to pretty much keep to ourselves here .
I think we need one of those spy cameras yer?
We also have a lock on our mailbox too! As our mail used to get stolen! What is with this world of today i ask *sigh* makes you wonder right?

SO WHAT WOULD YOU DO ?
HOW WOULD YOU OF HANDLED THIS SITUATION?

People are arses. I got a long winded note on my windscreen once about why did I park next to their bins, (the only spot free anywhere nearby) they are ratepayers blah blah. 1. Cars do not stop garbage being collected 2. The bin was handily placed for disposal of said rubbish note.
ReplyDeleteOnly thing you can do is place a note on the TV saying Hard Rubbish Has Been Called (So mind your own business) and find out what day collection is expected in your street.
Wow! I don`t even know what I would do. Some people can be serious assholes .. I really don`t get it.
ReplyDeleteNeither do i like they have nothing better to do right! Gee wiz lol
DeleteHmm. Wow. How rude! Seriously.
ReplyDeleteJust found you through IBOT. Nice to meet you :)
Leanne @ Deep Fried Fruit
Hi Leanna:-) Nice to meet you as well Off to check your blog now x
DeleteOh gosh what a hassle, certainly make my neighbours a little easier to deal with.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!! Thats terrible.. and slightly amusing I might add.. not a nice thing to happen to anyone!!! I like the note bit - my husband would write back to them and stick the note back on the tv aswell!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why anyone would put the tv into the bin... thats just ridiculous!! although amusing to think of doing something like that..
crazy old lady across the road?
I know right i did both laugh and cry maybe not in that order though! :-p
DeleteAnyway My friend and i now have just got the tele out of the bin and re left it on the nature strip with note saying ~ DO NOT TOUCH WE CAN SEE YOU!
um... say what? It sounds like you have the neighbours from hell! Who on earth goes to the effort to write a note to stick to a tv that is clearly there from council pick up?!
ReplyDeleteMind you we have someones old hot water heater sitting in the visitor car park at the moment, which is slightly random... but no one has tried to chuck it in a bin (yet!)
I like the idea of a camera watching and then maybe you could turn it into a vlog! Could be a new series maybe? ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to IBOT
