{Sorry today's Wordless Wednesday is totally photo bombed} You have now been warned !}
A coup;e of days ago "Chloe reminded me that she had a school curriculum day" So that meant no school *sigh* so i said OK lets go to the zoo we have not been in donkey years so i chatted to my other daughter and she came down by 11ish ~ Lucky for her it was her RDO as well .
So after getting ready running around to find my sneakers {it took me 20 Min's to find them}
Mind you we where all ready apart from Dion who was yet to have a shower . By the time he dressed ,shaved etc... We all got into Amy's car by 12:05pm ~ Bloody world record if you ask me!
Amy tried to follow her GPS um mind you we went round in circles i think 3 times we laughed .
But really Amy who turned 18 a couple of weeks ago is awesome at driving ~As is my son too {just in case he read this hahaha}
Family pass at the Melbourne Zoo does not come cheap i tell you at $73.95!
But we did follow the map and saw most of the animals we really wanted to see.
Frogs,seals,meerkats,bear,lions,red pandas spiders and more... No Butterfly enclosure as it was under new construction.... Bummer really wanted to see that *sigh*
We spent most of the day there and by 5pm walking around all day just in sneakers i was buggered.
Poor Amy walked all day in black boots . Young adults these days .......
Please enjoy my picture's and Happy Hump Day to all :-)
It was a little disappointing that some enclosures where closed or down for some repairs.
I am still not to thrilled that all these animals are held in cages some are rather small for the animals.
Long Day time to go home *sigh*
I am linking up today with these awesome peeps go take a looksee

Always such a tiring day but great photos. I don't think kids ever tire of the zoo, no matter what age.
ReplyDeleteNawww, I love animal pictures and I love Melbourne Zoo. So. Much. Fun! So you got to see baby meerkats, I'm rather jealous. I wanna see one!
ReplyDeleteHi Penny:-)
