Yesterday i was chatting to a friend who asked me what all the hype was about pinterest!
So Alisha if you are reading this here is your answer OK :-)
WHAT IS PINTEREST~
To make it easier to understand one part pin board one part social Media. Pinning is extremely
addictive . It lets you share links,images to the world. So you could almost say it was like a your very own personal scrapbook of all the things you like .
So instead of listing the books you love to read you can pin the photos up of your reads.
Anyone can visit your personal pin boards and take a look at what you like. When they like pins off your board they can re~pin onto their own boards.

Pinterest is like window shopping online easy and fun ~ great relaxing tool .
So instead of pressing your face up on the glass of a real window you can pin all the cool stuff you want on your list board and share it with friends.
Another point i have learnt~ There is a certain time to pin to get your boards seen by others more
I pin really early in morning and just before doing the Dinner meal so
Morning times~ 7am -8am
Night time~ 4pm -6pm Then maybe again after 10pm
Check out other boards you never know you may gain a new follower .
Careful cos once your pinning it's hard to stop i know .........

ReplyDeleteI can get my fix of magazines for FREE, and without tripping over piles of magazines in the hallway. I have a board (or two) ready for when I plan my house build. I have Christmas stuff that I've made (mostly worked fab) and plan to make this year. I have recipes for food and drinkies, and just plain pretty pictures to look at.
If you like flipping through glossy magazines, but wince at the cost, THIS is the site for YOU!

DeleteI love it and will be making some creative use of it. I've seen some people use it as a micro-blogging platform, they post very long 'descriptions' of their photos to tell a story etc. Very clever!
ReplyDeleteHi Dannie I've never pinned anything...But I notice when I check my stats there are lots of my posts on pinterest ...I wouldn't even know where to start ...if I see great things I just copy them and save for future reference...
