menu plan for the week and recipes ...........




Last night i was asking on Face book what i should make for the week. I was having some sort of brain freeze fart i think total blank. I got all sorts of answers from curry  to what ever i felt like making which was not much.

I have a wonderful recipe from Toni ~ This will be MONDAYS MEAL

LAMB AND APRICOT PARCELS
100g dried apricots, chopped
500 g lamb mince
1/2 cup apricot jam
1/2 cup herb stuffing mix
3 sheets puff pastry
1 egg, lightly beaten

pre-heat oven to 180
mix apricots, mince, jam and stuffing, and leave for 20 Min's
shape mince into 6 flat square patties
cut each pastry sheet in half
place patty on one end and make parcel
brush with egg to seal
bake about 30 Min's

you can add some fresh mint to the mince as well, it;s DELISH.


So i think for the rest of the week it will go something like this;


TUESDAY ~Marinated chicken wings with rice

WEDNESDAY ~Spaghetti and meatballs

THURSDAY ~B.B.Q Ribs with mash and peas

FRIDAY ~Tuna bake

SATURDAY ~T.B.A.

SUNDAY ~Homemade Pizza


COOKING  / BAKING ~ Strawberry tart lets, Mud cake , coconut cookies.
