GLOBES CENTERPIECE
- You will need from any craft supply about say six 1.5 inch wooden balls
- Red and green spray paint
- White /gold / silver pens
- Acrylic sealer spray
This should be done outside so you don't stink out the house ~ silly me actually did it inside i know *sigh* enough said OK!
Place the wooden balls on a piece of cardboard /or even an egg carton would work well . Spray half the balls green the other half red wait for the paint to dry first. When they are dry turn them over and do the other side.
About 2 coats should be fine. When the balls are dry use your paint pens to write Christmas words . Make sure you put a sealer on them when finished so they do not smudge. Find a glass bowl or a deep vase and display on your table.
MARBLED CANDLE HOLDER
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- small votive glass cup
- hot glue gun
- safe surface to work with glue gun
- flat red glass marbles ~{ 16mm to 18mm} approx
- flat green glass marbles{16mm to 18mm}
- small glass jar with cold water
- votive candle
As you wait for the glue gun to warm up lay out the red marbles in a line.
make sure you have the small jar of cold water right near you in case you are clumsy and burn yourself over 6 times! *sigh* (please don't ask) I have learnt my lesson well i hope.
On the outside top of the rim run a thick glue ~ straight away start placing the beads on the glue as it sets really quick! Repeat these with each row if you over lap it's fine just experiment like i did . That's what fun is right?! You cam make a patten if you are clever but i stuck to plain being boring and did no patten .
Last of all place your votive candle inside and enjoy.
Ok, I perhaps could manage these crafts! And you don't need to tell me about burning yourself with hot glue - that stuff is a killer x
