Palmolive Antibacterial with Lemon Extract Review and Giveaway Bonanza

Now my dish washer has been broken for at least 2 years and there is no point in getting it fixed. But that is alright as we only have me the hubs and the teen left at home. . Now Chloe said can i try the product out! I said knock your self out kiddo (It's a first she asked to actually wash any dishes at all . Normally i am begging her to help me wash the dishes  *sigh*

I don't wear gloves and i make sure the water is pipping hot too.

I love getting the sink full of suds (i know wasting water)   with the music on full blast !
I start to scrub to the beat of what ever is on . yes i am bizarre like that so I've been told.
Now yes they smell but the smell reminds me of Hubba Bubba gum remember them as a kid .

I even managed to clean my stove with it yes nothing else just a few drops of this dish liquid and it actually does a bang up job rather nicely no harsh scrubbing wipes clean with a paper towel .

Here are some pics i took of my sink and some dirty dishes after dinner (i so wanted to like the bowl clean before i washed it lol

This was the mess from the Tuscan meatballs and pasta we ate!

  4. Drain. Always always drain them, because there's no way I'm standing there washing them all and then drying and putting them away and of course, hubby isn't going to help!

  5. I always drain the dishes and let them air-dry because my Grandma use to say it was more "sanitary" (her favourite word) that way, especially if the tea towel did not get changed at least twice a day!!

  10. Drain. I'm exhausted by the time I'm finished washing them (also dealing with kid's bedtime routine at the same time)so I just let them airdry. Doesn't take long anyway. Plus I hate getting fluff or lint on glasses from the cloths.

  11. You can't send it to me in England. But, I've used the product. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We're the same--we have a small dishwasher, but my husband would rather wash the dishes by hand.

  12. I let them drain - no point in wetting a perfectly clean tea-towel by wiping them when they can dry themselves...plus you save on having to wash the tea towel :)

  13. I dry them then put them away.

  14. I let dishes drain. Drying them seems so pointless when they can dry themselves.

  17. I air dry for a while & then the next time I walk into the kitchen, I finish the drying with a tea-towel if need be & put them away.

  24. I let them drain! Why create more work, I can clean the kitchen while they are drying and put them away afterwards, so much less effort overall and the kitchen gets clean faster. More time with the kids before bed!

  28. I do use a dishwasher for crockery and cutlery but I handwash pots and pans and larger items. I still seem to spend a lot of time each day at the sink. Don't use a dish rack (I like the minimalist look of a clear bench). I just pile it all up and let it drain away until I get around to putting it all away.

  29. I do a bit of both it all depends on the size of the wash and if i am in a hurry .But most of the time i do let them dry off in the rack.

  31. I let them drain on a dish rack, I find that If I wash them in the hottest water I can handle then they dry super fast anyway, and It's more hygienic than using a tea towel that gets re-used and is a breeding ground for bacteria.

  39. Air dry!
Drying the dishes is something we were made to do as kids so that we each had a job. One washed, one dried...
Its a made up job for people with 2 or more kids!

  44. I dry in the dish rack.....Then if there are dishes in the rack when I go to wash up again, I unpack them onto the kitchen bench, wash the dishes and then put the ones on the bench away. For some reason I cant put the clean dried dishes away before washing up...lol...My hubby thinks Im weird because of it..
