  1. It's all about the math! My poor teacher used to pull his hair out "I KNOW you're smarter than this, why can't you do it?"

You know the saying 'it's all Greek to me" when you don't understand something? I can read Greek (classical Greek anyway), and Latin, and Swedish and a little bit of French and Italian but the second I look at numbers... it's all gone. I was actually fairly decent at algebra, no numbers.

I think I'm number dislexic - I worked as a check out chick for several years and for a $19.99 order I was always telling customers "that'll be $99.19 thanks", nearly gave on old biddy a heart attack.

  2. Where do I start?
    Science, Maths, English, IT, Economics...
As you can see I'm not a morning person -I don't like using my brain

  3. Me fail english?
    That's unpossible!
Shakespearean Language - Thee, Thou, Thy, Thine, Art, Sayeth. Like seriously, WTF!!!

  4. Music - i'm totally tone deaf, can't read music and have no musical ability what so ever! Although after a few drinks, I'm a whizz on the dance floor.

  7. My worst subject was History. Seriously, I just couldn't get interested! I didn't care what happened in 1432 or 1769! I was a teenager living in the 80's and all I wanted to do was wear fluro clothes and shoulder pads and party!!

  8. My worst subject at school was English. I just did not get on with one particular teacher, who hated my writing style and I hated her choice of literature. Ironic really ( as for Cooker and A Looker) as I am a wordsmith by trade now...tara_j_parish@yahoo.com.au

  9. MY WORST SUBJECT? HMMM? THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE MORNING ROLL CALL. SERIOUSLY! BEING SOMEWHAT ACADEMICALLY AND, TO BE HONEST, ATHLETICALLY CHALLENGED, EACH AND EVRY ONE OF MY SCHOOL DAYS WENT QUICKLY DOWNHILL FROM THAT FIRST OFFICIAL 'GOOD MORNING' ONWARDS!!

  10. Maths. I think I am the only Asian that sucks at numbers.

  11. Mine was trigonomitry, see I don't even think I can spell it right, let alone do it! I have no idea why I was so bad at it, it just didn't make any sense!!

  17. I hated Science, why was it so important to learn about the planets and about all the chemicals I thought. It's not like I was going to be a doctor or an astronaut.

  18. Phys Ed, being a chunky girl I hated wearing bloomers and netball skirt. The other kids seeing my thighs rubbing together was horrifying ordeal lol, for them and for me!!!

  19. Tech Studies. We had to make a metal cake tin and the teacher never helped the girls. My cake tin had holes in each corner and my mum put sticky tape over the holes and used it for bird seed in the aviary. It was the only subject I ever failed...makes me laugh now.

  20. My worst subject was Domestic Science. I had to cook & sew. Not at the same time thank goodness. Might have been better if I had.

I can't believe I actually grew out of this to be a decent cook & I can now sew. Who knew??

  21. Maths. its the worst thing in the world.
To make matters a littler worse my teacher also taught my Dad maths and would always tell me that "you can do better than this". My Dad is a math teacher and I'm the family shame in the math department really.

  25. My worst subject was woodworking! I always got splinters and never could line the wood up properly. Plus I'm not even a little artistic, so I could never even imagine how things would look as the finished item! I was rubbish at it!

  35. I used to hate sport. I'd purposely forget my sports uniform, preferring instead to write lines "I must not forget my uniform, I must not forget my uniform".

    ReplyDelete
  36. Art was my hated subject! I remember always looking around the room to see what I was meant to be doing- creativity is not for me! Even in kinder I got crosses on my literacy work when the teacher couldnt tell that my drawing was a 'cat under the table', like the reading told me to do. And it was! (By the way, I am now a teacher myself and ask the children about their drawings when I am unsure. I am still not over being told I had done something wrong LOL). russellcathryn at yahoo dot com.au

  37. I was always hopeless at PDHPE - I'm not coordinated, I can't catch a ball, I miss balls when I try to kick them and look stoopid! No amount of effort can earn you a good mark in PDHPE when you are as unco as me, my theory was always great but my practical not so much. I was so glad when I could give it up in year 11. (I think my teachers were too)
