Snow boarding school all ready for August!

In approximately 3 months from today the teen will be off to the snow yet again. She loves going . She goes with another 2 families these teens are inseparable .

After trying to look and finding last years clothes for the snow, which where all way to small . We went shopping for new snow gear. Bloody hell its like going to those sales straight after Christmas really we got there early lined up the line was nearly half way down the street . Doors suddenly opened and there was a huge mad rush of pushing and shoving rude people and so on...

After just 1 hour we got what was needed the jacket , pants  and socks , thermals. We still had goggles and gloves from last year that was ok. Up a size as the teen has had a few growth spurts and is rather tall yet again  *sigh*

Still a rather good bargain for these jacket ,pants thermals and socks under $200 woohoo!
Still yet to finalise the snow school for snow boarding yes you go to school for 5 days for 1 and 1/2 hours a day She loves it.

They stay in log cabins cook do chairlifts and loads of other fun things.
Here a some pictures from a few years ago.

Ever been snowboarding ? What do you love about the snow?

  1. I've never been skiing or snowboarding - I'd rather lie in the sun on a hot beach :) I learned something today though - I didn't know that it was easy to find snow in Australia even in winter!

  2. I've never done any of the snow sports...sounds tempting sitting in this hot weather of Indian summer.I know what it is like to shop for teens, I have a 15 year old boy who grows out of things every 2 months!
    Nice've got a lovely daughter :)

    1. Thanks Vinodini They think we have a money tree every where LOL :-)

  3. Wow, what brave children. I'd be terrified at the thought of skiing!

Love hearing what you have to say . Please be nice that's all i ask. Thank you.
